WHITFIELD COUNTY DEMOCRATS HOST FIRST ANNUAL KENNEDY-CARTER DINNER WITH KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE JASON CARTER
The Whitfield County Democratic Party will hold its first annual Kennedy-Carter Dinner on Saturday, June 14th at 7:00 PM at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. This promises to be an exciting and inspirational evening as Democrats from all across North Georgia come together to hear from our statewide candidates in the run-up to November’s elections.
Our Keynote Speaker for this occasion will be gubernatorial candidate Jason Carter. In addition to Mr. Carter, several other statewide candidates will also be in attendance and will speak, including Connie Stokes (candidate for Lieutenant Governor), Liz Johnson (candidate for Insurance Commissioner) and Greg Hecht (candidate for Attorney General). The event will also honor several local public servants and dedicated community leaders, with the presentation of the JFK Public Service Award, the Jimmy Carter Humanitarian Award, and the Whitfield County Democratic Party Lifetime Achievement Award.
Approximately 300 individuals from across the region will be present, with county Democratic Party delegations from Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Murray, Pickens and Walker in attendance. Tickets for this event are selling out at a rapid rate, but a few dozen tickets are still available at the time of this press release. Individual tickets are available from $50 for normal accommodations, to $125 for prime seating and VIP meetings with our statewide candidates. Tables for the event are available from $400 for 10 seats with normal accommodations, to $1,000 for prime seating/VIP meetings with our statewide candidates.
